Supported by EU funded project NaturAl and its partners AKZM Agjencia Kombëtare e Zonave të Mbrojtura , Ministria e Turizmit dhe Mjedisit, AICS Tirana, IUCN and with the participation of international and local environment organisations’ experts, the results of the monitoring will be available by the end of February.

During the World Tourism Day, the Visitor Center in Radhime, Vlore was inaugurated. This center, in addition to the info-point function, will serve as a mini museum by introducing to tourists the land and marine assets of the country, as well as the culinary traditions. During the ceremony three new visitor centers were presented, to be constructed in Llogara National Park, Divjaka-Karavasta NP and Dajti NP, with the support of NaturAL Project funded by EU. The Minister of Tourism and Environment Mr. Blendi Klosi, local authorities in Vlora, development partners, Rangers of RAPA and some representatives from the community attended the event. They admired the natural beauties, biodiversity and the ecosystems in the Protected Areas of Albania as important tourist destinations and stressed out that the new centers will provide quality service and information to both domestic and foreign tourists.

TVSH reportage of the World Ranger Day celebrated across Albania on the 31st July 2017
The interview Ardian Koci, RAPA Fier, and Toni Kreshnik, RAPA Lezha, gave for the Vizion + TV Morning show “5 to 7” on the occasion of the World Wetlands Day on 2 February 2017. Besides mentioning the importance of wetlands of Albania for migratory birds and promoting the bird watching, they have also shared the results of the International Waterbird Census held in January and supported by the project NaturAL, financed by the EU, and NAPA.
